Last time I talked about some of my favorite cover artists and songs. I have since discovered a few more and would love to share them with you.
However, before I do, I would like to give a huge thumbs up to Hunter Hayes and Jason Mraz for using their cover artists in such a genius way.
Everybody’s Got Somebody – Hunter Hayes and Jason Mraz
Not only do these two have amazing voices, so does everyone featured in their video. It’s not only an awesome song, but a great promo video for all involved.
Counting Stars – Originally by One Republic – Covered by the Gardner Sisters
These girls had me at hello. Watch them and you’ll see what I mean.
End of Time – Originally by Beyonce – Covered by Gardner Sisters
This is a bonus from the Gardner sisters. This entire montage makes me smile.
Royals – Originally by Lorde – Covered by Anthony
This little guy has a VOICE! Love him. I’d rather listen to him all day than Lorde for a few minutes. (Sorry Lorde)
Hall of Fame – Originally by The Script & Will.i.am – Covered by Runaground
Ya, I’m lovin’ on the slower versions today. Sorry if any of you are bored. I’ll include one more fast one as an honorable mention.
Call Me Maybe & Payphone Mashup – Jessica Jarrell and James Alan
This one is fun, and gives a new twist to the EXTREMELY overplayed Call me Maybe.
