Set in the corner of a shopping center that will remind you of something that could be found on a boardwalk, we found Lazy Day Cafe. This brunch cafe is both eclectic and cozy and reminded me of something out of a small town 70’s movie. There was a bar for those who wanted something quick, filled with old men who could be considered the “regulars.”

The tables and chairs were unmatched and un-themed along with the artwork, which created an “at home” feel. How did we like the Lazy Day Cafe?

Food = 3.5 of 5. Only because we didn’t get all of what we ordered at first, and the biscuits were a little hard.

Wait = 3 of 5. This is a more European style restaurant. If you are in a hurry, this isn’t the spot for you. Groups of 2-3 are best.

Price & Portions = 5 of 5. Great prices, perfect portions. I came in quite hungry and left the perfect amount of satisfied, not too full and definitely not running on empty.

Service = 5 of 5. We received excellent, prompt service. They made sure we were being take care of multiple times. The staff’s attitude was positive and inviting.

Have you been to the Lazy Day Cafe in Salt Lake? What did you think?
