Dreamland is where I feel I reside lately, somewhere in that half-awake memory of your dream when you feel like screaming but can’t. I have spent a lot of time rehashing old dreams lately and what they mean to me now and whether or not they may ever come true. It doesn’t so much matter what the dream was but whether or not the reality of a dream lost would alter my actions.
What I have noticed is that my dreams changed.
When others ideas of what your life should be stop guiding your actions, you can become whatever you are meant to be. And your dreams reshape and reform and revitalize until they become not only what you need, but what you want them to be.
Dream too big, or fall too hard, Laugh too loud and let down your guard. Try too much and smile too wide, feel a little and let go of your pride. Love too deep. Cry don’t weep. Forgive your friend, play pretend. Imagine your future and believe you can.
