So, after losing my job, I have resorted to some odd, new money-making tactics for the short term. Including, dog sitting (which pays well if you get enough clients) using Upwork for contracted gig work, and driving food around for Uber Eats. Let’s just say the last of the list is one of the oddest jobs I’ve had to this point. But, despite that, I’ve been in the fall mood this week so I created a fun mood board to help me visualize the fall coziness.
I know many people with chronic conditions struggle with the colder season, however, here are some ideas and things that I do that have helped me when the weather turns colder.

According to doctors and medical professionals, and of course, me, the best ways to make and keep your body warm in the colder months is to start by taking hot baths or showers, then snuggling with blankets and warm socks to keep the heat in. Warm drinks such as herbal tea and hot chocolate help keep your internal temperatures steady and layering your clothing will provide extra protection from the chill.
