Camping is one of my favorite things to do. I currently live in Indiana, but I lived in Utah for a number of years (18) and there is nothing like spending time in the mountains or National Parks in southern Utah in a tent, with friends or family. I remember one time in particular, when I was down at Arches, (not camping this time) in January. I layed down on the ground in the middle of the park at night and just stared up into the night sky. This park is part of what they call the dark sky region, in which there is no light pollution from nearby cities and I marveled at the spectacular view of the Milkyway. The healing that comes from being in nature is beyond compare in my opinion.
