Steps to Build Your Emergency Preparedness Plan Today
Daily writing prompt
Create an emergency preparedness plan.

What a fascinating idea for a topic to write about. I have been in charge of a group of women in my church for 2 years and my theme last year was emergency preparedness, on all sides of the spectrum. We talked about emotional, spiritual, and physical preparation.

We started the year 2024 with canning prep, and discussed all of the things we can, and how to prepare a garden so you can harvest and can things on your own to save money, especially with the state of the Economy in early 2024.

We had a bazaar of sorts for one of our activities, where the women learned how to make a 72-hour kit (linked below), the basics of first-aid, and emotional resilience. We had people talk on each of these topics and go into details of what you may need to be prepared for. It was a very educational opportunity. I have attached some of the documents we used in our preparedness course.

Hopefully some of these materials can help others as well as they prepare themselves for a potential emergency.

These documents were all pulled from outside sources and were used for our personal circulation only. But we had very positive responses from everyone who attended the activity.
