Fall has always been “my” time of year, and not just because the sweaters and boots are fun to wear. I was born in fall, and I’ve always loved the changing of the leaves, walking through the corn fields, leaf peeping, and the cooling of the air before winter sets in.
Fall is a time for change. Many people believe that the start of the new year signifies change, but I have always believed that the falling leaves give way to change. Dead leaves fall away and allow the trees a chance to heal and start the process of re-growth.
Fall harvests unique opportunities for choosing which connections are important to you and clearing away the bad ones in preparation for new growth and life.
Spring is when we can embrace the changes we started to enact in the fall and allow these new growths to boom and flourish as new blossoms.
What is your favorite season and why?
